House of Masaba Secures Interim Relief in Trademark Dispute Against Masabacoutureofficial.co

In a recent legal proceeding, House of Masaba Lifestyle Private Limited, the fashion brand founded by designer Masaba Gupta, filed a lawsuit against the operators of the website Masabacoutureofficial.co and other associated parties. The case centered on allegations of trademark infringement, with House of Masaba asserting that the defendants were unlawfully using the "Masaba" trademark to market and sell counterfeit products, thereby misleading consumers and damaging the brand's reputation.

The court thoroughly examined the evidence presented, including the unauthorized use of the "Masaba" trademark and the sale of counterfeit goods. It was determined that the defendants had no legitimate rights to use the "Masaba" name and were intentionally creating confusion among consumers for commercial gain. Consequently, the court ruled in favor of House of Masaba, issuing a permanent injunction against Masabacoutureofficial.co and the other defendants. The ruling prohibits them from using the "Masaba" trademark in any form and mandates the cessation of all related infringing activities.

The case is scheduled for its next hearing on March 15, 2025, during which the court will further deliberate on the matter and assess any additional evidence presented by both parties.
